Daily Trust: What are some of the new policies you intend to implement in order to make Hajj easier for Plateau pilgrims?
One of the cardinal responsibilities of the Board is to undertake one of the pillars of Islam in respect of Hajj. We have to make sure that the welfare of anybody going to Hajj is taken care of because you are leaving the country to another country. We have to see to their wellbeing and make sure that wherever they are staying in both Mecca and Medina they are in a safe place and with minimum stress. We have to make sure they are staying very closer to the two holy mosques. Now we intend to ensure that the pilgrims do not suffer as they did in the past where pilgrims used
