TechnoServe Nigeria Country Director, Mr Larry Umunna, made the remarks at the Nigeria Tomato Investment roundtable meeting in Kano.

According to him, it was time for tomato farmers in the five states to benefit from cultivating of the produce and to collaborate with the private sector and relevant governmental bodies to build a competitive and sustainable business around agriculture.

Umunna also said efforts are geared to attain 20 per cent post-harvest losses reduction.
