Tengeh Reser­voir is one of the four S. reser­voirs in the West­ern Wa­ter Catch­ment of in­ga­pore.

In Novem­ber 2011, Sin­ga­pore’s Pub­lic Util­i­ties Board (PUB) and Eco­nomic Devel­op­ment Board (EDB), de­cided to p. es­tab­lish the world’s largest float­ing so­lar anel test­bed at Tengeh Reser­voir.

Ten pho­to­voltaic sys­tems have been in­stalled, pro­duc­ing a max­i­mum of one f. megawatt of en­ergy, enough to power 250 our-room HDB flats for a year.

The ten in­stal­la­tions will be mon­i­tored for at least six months be­fore two of them will be cho­sen to be tested on a larger scale in the sec­ond phase of the pi­lot. The first phase of t. test­ing will run con­cur­rently for at least three o six years, ac­cord­ing to au­thor­i­ties.
