11 injured after severe rainstorm hits Ibri
A severe rainstorm passed through the wilayat of Ibri in Dhahirah on Monday afternoon injuring people and damaging public utility services.
The rainstorm resulted in injuries to 11 people. Nine persons were given first-aid while another two were admitted to a hospital for further checkups.
The rainstorm also damaged vehicles, building roofs, traffic signs, electricity poles, street lights and trees. Government agencies and private sector institutions, citizens and residents pooled in their efforts to restore the damaged public services.
The ROP has asked people to follow weather reports before venturing out.
