Takatuf Oman to es­tab­lish two train­ing cen­tres

Mus­cat - An­swer­ing the call to help pre­pare the next gen­er­a­tion of highly qual­i­fied, com­pe­tent and job-ready grad­u­ates for Oman’s en­ergy sec­tor, Takatuf Oman has an­nounced projects un­der way to es­tab­lish two tech­ni­cal train­ing in­sti­tutes, in part­ner­ships with Sch­lum­berger and Petro­fac in Novem­ber.

The an­nounce­ment was made on the oc­ca­sion of the visit of H E Eng Salim bin Nasser al Aufi, Un­der­sec­re­tary in the Min­istry of Oil and Gas and H E Dr Mona bint Salim al Jar­daniyah, Un­der­sec­re­tary for Tech­no­log­i­cal Ed­u­ca­tion and Vo­ca­tional Train­ing in the Min­istry of Man­power.

“With every new pro­ject that is con­ceived to­wards the de­vel­op­ment of Omani hu­man cap­i­tal, in­dus­try and ed­u­ca­tion move in tan­dem to­wards a work­force well-equipped to re­spond to our econ­omy’s call to in­no­vate and ex­cel,” said H E Dr Mona.
