Omani firm to acquire two cutting-edge drones for use in oil and gas sector
Al Ghalbi International, an Omani engineering and contracting firm will acquire two cutting-edge drones from France’s Xamen Technologies for operations in the oil and gas sector. According to a report by French newspaper, La République des Pyrénées, Xamen Technologies CEO Philippe Barthomeuf will sign an agreement with Al Ghalbi CEO Sheikh Ali Suleym al Junaibi in the Bordeaux region of France on July 27.
The contract includes the sale of two ATEX drones, according to the report. Xamen plans to drum up further business at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference in November. Both firms were not available for comments at the time of going to the press.
