BankDho­far launches Mo­bile Wal­let with high level se­cu­rity fea­tures

Mus­cat - As part of its en­deav­our to sup­port the Cen­tral Bank of Oman’s (CBO) ini­tia­tives to add to the con­ve­nience of eBank­ing chan­nels, BankDho­far has in­tro­duced its Mo­bile Wal­let.

Mo­bile Wal­let is a new, se­cure and easy way to trans­fer money to other wal­let users just by reg­is­ter­ing the ben­e­fi­ciary’s mo­bile num­ber via the bank’s mo­bile bank­ing app.

In a press re­lease, Ab­dul Ha­keem al Ojaili, CEO of BankDho­far said: “We are de­lighted to be part of the CBO’s ini­tia­tive of the mo­bile clear­ing sys­tem within our mo­bile bank­ing ap­pli­ca­tion. This is a new sys­tem for money trans­fer be­tween banks provid- ing a safe, se­cure and ef­fi­cient pay­ment in­fra­struc­ture. This will save time and guar­an­tee safe and fast pay­ment be­tween in­di­vid­u­als and busi­ness cus­tomers as it re­it­er­ates BankDho­far’s com­mit­ment to ex­cel and grow in all busi­ness ar­eas. This ini­tia­tive is a sig­nif­i­cant ad­di­tion to our multi award-win­ning mo­bile bank­ing ap­pli­ca­tion.”

Funds can be trans­ferred via BankDho­far’s mo­bile bank­ing app from a cus­tomer’s wal­let to other cus­tomers’ wal­lets by us­ing their mo­bile num­ber. The cash trans­fer limit is from RO1 up to a max­i­mum limit of RO500 per day for mo­biles and de­vices us­ing An­droid and iOS sys­tems.

To en­rich cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence, BankDho­far con­tin­u­ously en­hances its elec­tronic bank­ing chan­nels and of­fers a wide ar­ray of bank­ing op­tions through its on­line bank­ing and mo­bile bank­ing so­lu­tions.
