A’Saffa Foods ‘Let Us Achieve Their Dreams-4’ CSR ini­tia­tive brings smiles on faces of 22 chil­dren

A’Saffa Foods is the sul­tanate's largest fully in­te­grated poul­try gi­ant; its ‘Let Us Achieve Their Dreams-4’ CSR ini­tia­tive has come to a close, leav­ing a smile on the faces of 22 chil­dren this year. The one-of-its-kind an­nual ges­ture has helped bring to life the dreams of chil­dren liv­ing in spe­cial care homes by gar­ner­ing an over­whelm­ing sup­port from Face­book users through­out the sul­tanate and be­yond.

The ‘Let Us Achieve Their Dreams-4’ cam­paign by A’Saffa Foods works to­wards the mile­stone of pos­i­tively im­pact­ing the lives of chil­dren. The ini­tia­tive be­gan with help­ing five chil­dren achieve their dreams in year one of the ini­tia­tive. The com­pany de­cided to ex­tend the same to ten chil­dren in the last two years. With the ini­tia­tive get­ting big­ger with each pass­ing year, A’Saffa Foods is de­lighted that ‘Let Us Achieve Their Dreams-4’ ex­tended its help­ing hand to 22 chil­dren this year.

To par­tic­i­pate and do their bit to­wards ful­fill­ing the dreams of the 22 se­lected chil­dren (be­long­ing to the age group of 5 to 7 years) this year, pa­trons and visi­tors on the A’Saffa Foods Face­book page had to ‘like’ the brand’s post with the theme ‘Let Us Achieve their Dreams 4’. Ev­ery ‘like’ gen­er­ated 100bz that was do­nated by A’Saffa Foods to­wards presents (iPads and PlayS­ta­tions) for the chil­dren in­clud­ing Ali, Bader, Hamza, Issa, Jasim, Yasir, You­nis, Sami, Suli­man, Sul­tan, and Asma.

Sid­hartha Lenka, head of Mar­ket­ing and Sales, said, “We were de­lighted to see the faces of the chil­dren lit up in a smile on re­ceiv­ing the presents of their choice. The ‘Let Us Achieve Their Dreams’ so­cial re­spon­si­bil­ity ini­tia­tive was con­cep­tu­alised with the aim to do some­thing a lit­tle more mean­ing­ful dur­ing the sea­son of giv­ing. Since we be­lieve that chil­dren are an in­te­gral part of the so­ci­ety and the fu­ture of to­mor­row, the ini­tia­tive fo­cuses on help­ing them lead bet­ter lives by mak­ing their dreams come true year on year.”

A’Saffa Foods has al­ways been known for go­ing be­yond its pas­sion of be­ing the sul­tanate’s largest fully in­te­grated poul­try project, snacks and al­lied foods pro­ducer.
