Iran’s Kish Airlines to start direct service between Muscat and Bandar Abbas
Airline also connects Muscat with Shiraz, Chabahar and Kish Island
Iran’s Kish Airlines will soon start a direct service between Muscat and Bandar Abbas. The airline will also restart its flights to Muscat from its base in Kish Island.
An official of the Kish Airlines at its UAE office told Muscat Daily that currently it is negotiating the timing slot for the Bandar Abbas flight with the Omani authorities and is most likely to start next month. “Also, we will be restarting the now suspended service between Muscat and Kish Island from August as well.”
He added that the weekly flight was suspended earlier this month but will soon restart.
The official further said that the airline currently flies one weekly flight each from Shiraz and Chabahar to Muscat International Airport. The flights run on every Friday. Kish Island was first connected with Muscat by direct Kish Airlines flight in late 2015. The official said that Shiraz and Chabahar flights have now been operating for over a year.
