Oman Air re­wards top-per­form­ing travel agent from Q2 2017

Oman Air has an­nounced the sec­ond win­ner of its pop­u­lar in­cen­tive scheme for travel agents in Oman. Mouza al Kindi of Bah­wan Travel Agency was re­warded with a brand new Mini Cooper in recog­ni­tion of her ex­cel­lent sales in the sec­ond quar­ter of 2017.

The car was pre­sented to Mouza by Oman Air’s deputy CEO and chief com­mer­cial of­fi­cer, Ab­dul­rah­man al Bu­saidy at a spe­cial event held at the premises of Oman Air’s pre­mium class check in area at Mus­cat In­ter­na­tional Air­port on July 30.

This ex­cit­ing in­cen­tive scheme for Oman travel agents was set up to recog­nise in­di­vid­u­als who have shown loy­alty to Oman Air and have gen­er­ated max­i­mum sales for the award­win­ning air­line.

The scheme re­wards the best-sell­ing travel agent for each quar­ter with the grand prize of a Mini Cooper, which comes in ad­di­tion to the sup­port that Oman Air al­ready offers agen­cies for train­ing and joint mar­ket­ing. The first win­ner, Sumith K P of Travel City travel agency, was an­nounced ear­lier in the year.

Bu­saidy said, “I am very happy to an­nounce the name of the win­ner for the sec­ond quar­ter, Mouza, who has won her­self a Mini Cooper.

“We are de­lighted to wit­ness our in­cen­tive scheme hav­ing a fan­tas­tic re­sponse from the travel agent com­mu­nity. Travel agents play a vi­tal role in pro­mot­ing Oman Air and in sup­port­ing our ef­forts to bring more tourists and busi­ness to the coun­try and this in­cen­tive scheme is our way of show­ing our ap­pre­ci­a­tion for all of their hard work.”

In ad­di­tion, the in­cen­tive scheme was cre­ated to com­ple­ment Oman Air’s ex­ist­ing loy­alty and qual­ity award scheme for travel agen­cies.

It has al­ready en­cour­aged travel agents to in­crease their sales for Oman Air.
