NPA appoints Ian Pepler as media sales director of ‘Wings of Oman’ magazine
National Publishing and Advertising (NPA) recently appointed Ian Pepler as the media sales director of its flagship publication Wings of Oman magazine, according to a press release.
Wings of Oman, the bilingual in-flight travel and lifestyle magazine of Oman Air, is produced and presented every month in both Arabic and English by the corporate communications and media department of Oman Air, in association with NPA.
The magazine features an eclectic mix of lifestyle and travel-related topics including full-length travel features and human interest stories on the international destinations that Oman Air flies to. It also features in-depth profiles on the very best of what the sultanate has to offer the traveller, adventurer, and business tourist.
Pepler has worked in the media sales industry for over 15 years in South Africa. He brings a wealth of experience with him, working previously with Car, South Africa’s biggest men’s magazine and Getaway, South Africa’s oldest travel magazine.
Besides these, he has worked with over 30 other magazines which include Property, Lifestyle, Custom and Bespoke Niche magazine titles, such as Zimbali Resort Life.
He has extensive experience and knowledge regarding advertising platforms, which include outdoor advertising, print and digital advertising. His forte includes media innovation and providing support to the client’s business vision by integrating the media planning process, closely with the strategic market process.
Pepler is passionate about the clients he has worked with and relationships he has fostered with his clients over the years. He has bolstered several media campaigns for most of the prestigious brands.
