24,314 visit ar­chae­o­log­i­cal sites in Dho­far

Salalah - The num­ber of vis­i­tors to Al Baleed and Samahram Ar­chae­o­log­i­cal Sites in July stood at 24,314 ac­cord­ing to statis­tics from the Depart­ment of Frank­in­cense Land Sites at His Majesty the Sul­tan's Ad­vi­sor’s Of­fice for Cul­tural Af­fairs.

Al Baleed Ar­chae­o­log­i­cal Park and Mu­seum of the Frank­in­cense Land re­ceived 17,981 vis­i­tors while Samahram Ar­chae­o­log­i­cal Site re­ceived 6,032 vis­i­tors, Wadi Dokka re­ceived 280 and Wbar Ar­chae­o­log­i­cal site re­ceived 21 vis­i­tors.

The Of­fice of His Majesty the Sul­tan's Ad­vi­sor for Cul­tural Af­fairs is de­vel­op­ing sev­eral ar­chae­o­log­i­cal sites in Dho­far.

Al Baleed Ar­chae­o­log­i­cal Park, Samahram and Wadi Dokka are reg­is­tered sites on the World Her­itage List un­der the name ‘Land of Frank­in­cense’ sites.
