WHAT IS A HIGH-MOBILITY VEHICLE?
High-mobility vehicles (HMVs) usually refer to multi-purpose, allterrain vehicles usually used by a country’s armed forces or by industries such as mining, oil and gas, forestry, geological surveying, disaster control teams etc to move personnel and equipment over difficult and dangerous terrain. They are often used in areas with no roads, sometimes not even dirt tracks. The US Army’s Humvees are among the most easily recognised HMVs by the general public. Xiaolong’s vehicles are based on the same concept.
