Ooredoo pioneers digital experience with social login for its application
Customers using the Ooredoo Oman app can now register and log-in through Twitter and Facebook, thanks to an innovative add-on implemented by the company.
Available for Android and coming soon for Apple, the upgrade allows social media users to instantly access their Ooredoo accounts, putting bill payments, top-ups and data management and much more, firmly at their fingertips. Feras al Sheikh, director of Consumer Sales at Ooredoo, said, “The popularity social media in Oman has allowed us to explore new ways of reaching out and better understanding the growing needs of our customers. As data experience leaders, our aim is to provide the ultimate in convenience for our users as well as keeping up to date with current trends and user preferences. With more than 240k followers on Facebook and almost 450k on Twitter, our new social media login will give customers a quick way to access the app and everything it has to offer.”
