Bank So­har’s Monthly Draws con­ducted in Salalah

Bank So­har’s pop­u­lar Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme 2017 en­tered its fifth round of draws, an­nounc­ing the win­ners for its var­i­ous monthly sav­ings cat­e­gories dur­ing a gala din­ner held at the Salalah Hil­ton Ho­tel re­cently for the bank’s re­tail clients as a ges­ture of ap­pre­ci­a­tion for their loy­alty and sup­port. The Monthly Draws wit­nessed RO45,000 in cash prizes won by a total of 32 win­ners. Th­ese in­cluded a Gen­eral Draw for RO10,000; Chil­dren’s Draw for RO1,000 and a Fe­male Draw for RO5,000. Ad­di­tion­ally, the ded­i­cated Branch Draws, which saw one win­ner from each of the 29 branches win RO1,000 each, were con­ducted ear­lier at the bank’s Salalah branch.

Rep­re­sent­ing Bank So­har and wel­com­ing the in­vi­tees at the din­ner where the draw was con­ducted were Ra­jeev Arora, DGM and head of Re­tail Bank­ing; Khamis Ma­soud al Rahbi, Sr AGM of Re­tail Bank­ing; Mazin Mah­mood al Raisi, se­nior AGM - Mar­ket­ing and Cus­tomer Ex­pe­ri­ence; Amur Said al Amri, Sr chief branch man­ager of the Salalah branch, and other se­nior mem­bers of the bank.

Arora said, “On be­half of Bank So­har, I would like to thank our val­ued cus­tomers for mak­ing this event a great suc­cess. We al­ways strive to be at the helm of in­no­va­tion and ex­cel­lence in de­vel­op­ing our prod­ucts. Over the years, our ef­forts have re­sulted in con­sid­er­able suc­cess as evinced by the di­ver­sity of su­pe­rior mar­ket prod­ucts that we of­fer such as the Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme 2017. The scheme has been highly suc­cess­ful in en­cour­ag­ing thrifti­ness among our cus­tomers by re­ward­ing them with an ar­ray of cash prizes. One of the most unique as­pects of the Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme is the vol­ume of cash prizes that it awards cus­tomers across a wide range of cat­e­gories. Since its launch, the scheme has con­tin­ued to add con­sis­tent value to our port­fo­lio of in­no­va­tive prod­ucts and ser­vices that cater to our cus­tomers’ fi­nan­cial re­quire­ments.”

The event in­te­grated with a wel­come note by Amri, fol­lowed by a speech by Raisi, high­light­ing the var­i­ous mile­stones and achieve­ments of the bank. The speech was fol­lowed by a short doc­u­men­tary video high­light­ing the bank’s mile­stones and achieve­ments of the past ten years. This was fol­lowed by a brief over­view by Redha al Lawati, Sr chief man­ager of Li­a­bil­i­ties and Sales, on the Al Mu- mayaz Sav­ings Scheme 2017 and an out­line of each of the draws that were to be con­ducted. In ad­di­tion, an au­di­ence raf­fle draw was held where some lucky at­ten­dees walked away with ex­cit­ing prizes.

Elab­o­rat­ing fur­ther on the goals and ob­jec­tives of the Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme 2017, Rahbi said, “We would first like to con­grat­u­late the win­ners of the fifth monthly draw and hope that this will serve as greater mo­ti­va­tion for them to con­tinue to par­tic­i­pate in the Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme. The scheme re­flects our com­mit­ment to­wards de­vel­op­ing prod­ucts that change and en­rich lives.

“Since the in­cep­tion of our scheme, it has been a great suc­cess with our cus­tomers. The num­ber of lucky cus­tomers that have won with the bank’s 2017 edi­tion of the scheme has al­ready crossed the 700 mark till date and this num­ber will con­tinue to grow to over 1,350 by year-end ow­ing to the sheer di­ver­sity of prizes that re­sult from Hourly, Ex­clu­sive, Re­gional, Branch, Chil­dren, Gen­eral and Fe­male Draws.”

Fol­low­ing the pre­sen­ta­tion, the Al Mu­mayaz Sav­ings Scheme Monthly Draws were con­ducted start­ing off with the Chil­dren’s Draw which saw Ulla al Shukaili (mi­nor) from the Al Khuwayr branch win RO1,000. The Fe­male Draw fol­lowed, which saw Raghad al Dhuhli (mi­nor) from the Ruwi branch win RO5,000. The fi­nal draw of the day was the Gen­eral Draw which saw Mo­hammed al Amri from the Salalah branch win RO10,000.

The Monthly Branch draws wit­nessed a cus­tomer from each of the bank’s branches win RO1,000. This in­cluded Said al Balushi as the win­ner from Ibri branch, Nasser al Brashdi from Si­naw branch, Mridula Mad­ha­van from MBD branch, Amer Saif from Seeb branch, Sura Mo­hammed al Yahyai from Barka branch, Ali al Balushi from Bu­raimi branch, Shaikh Ir­fan from Salalah branch, Mo­hammed al Alawi from Sur branch, Fa­had al Hi­nai from Rus­taq branch, Aya Sabri (mi­nor) from Aza­iba branch, Maadh al Maaini (mi­nor) from So­har branch, Raghad Jaa­far Moosani (mi­nor) from Qurm branch, Badar Juma al Farsi from Al Khuwayr branch, Ma­sooma al Balushi from Al Khoudh branch, and many more.
