Forum puts spotlight on women and entrepreneurship in Arab world
Salalah - The second Arab Female Entrepreneurs Forum opened at the Salalah Rotana Hotel under the auspices of H E Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al Busaidi, Minister of State, Governor of Dhofar on Tuesday.
The three-day forum is being organised by the Public Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Riyada) under the theme, ‘Towards Global Entrepreneurship’ as part of the activities of Salalah Tourism Festival 2017.
World Youth Business Club, businesswomen, entrepreneurs, decision-makers, stakeholders, and small and medium enterprises from the sultanate, GCC and other Arab countries, as well as participants from Turkey, Malaysia, China and the UK are participating in the event.
The forum aims to familiarise the Arab business community with the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation and strengthen the participation of Arab and international institutions concerned with supporting and developing businesswomen.
