Travel Point of­fers ex­cit­ing deals for Qatar Sum­mer Fes­ti­val 2017

Travel Point, Oman’s largest travel and hos­pi­tal­ity com­pany, has part­nered with Qatar Sum­mer Fes­ti­val 2017 (QSF) or­gan­is­ers to pro­vide com­pre­hen­sive pack­age deals for trav­ellers look­ing to visit and en­joy their sum­mer in Qatar.

QSF runs un­til Septem­ber 5 and is the coun­try’s long­est and big­gest yet, said fes­ti­val or­gan­iser, Qatar Tourism Au­thor­ity (QTA). The QSF cen­tre­piece and fam­ily favourite is back this year with ex­cit­ing games for all ages. spread out over the ex­pan­sive ground floor of the Doha Ex­hi­bi­tion and Con­ven­tion Cen­ter (DECC), the city’s key fea­tures in­clude the world’s largest in­flat- able ob­sta­cle course, Timba Cars, Brick­lyn Lego, skill games, vir­tual re­al­ity and ar­cade games, a paint­ball shoot­ing range and live en­ter­tain­ment shows. The city will also have a food court and pop-up shops. It is open daily from 2pm to 11pm. An in­di­vid­ual en­try ticket costs QAR15; in­di­vid­ual game prices range from QAR5-50. The fes­ti­val month also fea­tures a sold-out Ara­bic mu­sic con­cert on Au­gust 18 for in­ter­na­tion­ally renowned Iraqi singer Kadim al Sahir and Qatari pop artist Fa­had al Kubaisi.

The fourth Mind­sports World Cham­pi­onships will also be hosted at DECC be­tween Au­gust 19 and 27, al­low­ing vis­i­tors to the Sum­mer En­ter­tain­ment City to en­joy the in­ter­na­tional mind­sports tour­na­ment. The event is ex­pected to at­tract 1,500 mind sports en­thu­si­asts from over 40 dif­fer­ent coun­tries.
