HOME MART INTERNATIONAL: AN INTEGRAL PART OF EVERY LIFE

Muscat Daily - - 70TH INDEPENDENCE DAY OF PAKISTAN -

As mentioned earlier my organization has moved away from being just a trading business to now being a onestop shop. With the introduction of the Home Mart International Chain of Malls, the goal was to move away from being purely focused on wholesaling to now being an organization that focuses on the needs of the end users in the sultanate. This in my opinion has been one of the leading achievements of my organization. that we are currently all facing. The aim is in maintaining our current status quo in the market. In order to stay competitive in the market our focus is on staying lean, eliminating a lot of functionality that’s unnecessary yet putting extra resources into key aspects for organizational growth. One of the most important aspects about business in Oman is that it is very different from how business is conducted in Pakistan. For investors coming into Oman it is absolutely essentially to undertake due diligence and to have the right Partner/ Sponsor as that is one of the key determinants in building a very successful foundation for undertaking business in the sultanate. Understanding these dynamics and nuances will go a long way in helping investors in the Sultanate becoming successful. With the vision of making building materials readily available to the entire public under one roof as part of a One stop shop strategy the goal is to increase the number of malls to cater to as many people in Oman. Al hamdulillah we have started three malls this year and Inshallah we will continue to grow. In 5 years I would like to see our malls covering the length and breath of the Sultanate of Oman in becoming an integral part of the life of every Omani.
