OOMC donates funds to OAS

-

AS part of its commitment to support the social development of people in the Sultanate, Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMC) donated funds generated by its Ata’a campaign to the Oman Autism Society (OAS). The funds will be used to provide autistic children with the opportunity to train in swimming, horsemanship and other athletic activities.

Launched last year during the holy month of Ramadhan under the theme ‘Together We Give More’, the campaign earmarked 10 per cent of all funds collected from select ahlain convenience stores in the Governorates of Muscat, Al Batinah, Al Sharqiyah, Ad Dakhiliyah and Dhofar for charity.

Jaber al Busaidi, Corporate Affairs Manager at Oman Oil Marketing Company, said, “Since inception, we have maintained a deep-rooted dedication to enhancing the lives of people across the Sultanate and empowering local communities with opportunities to grow and prosper. Our support of the Oman Autism Society will enrich the lives of autistic children and offer them the encouragement needed to become fully integrated members of society.”
