Nissan sales, production reach record levels
NISSAN Motor Co Ltd’s global sales and production rose to record levels between April 2016 and March 2017, driven by the popularity of its vehicles and the success of models offering autonomous drive and connected car technologies.
In Oman, Suhail Bahwan Automobiles (SBA) is the distributor of Nissan range of vehicles. Sales for the 12 months ending on March 31, 2017, increased for a fourth consecutive year, gaining 4 per cent to 5,642,381 vehicles. Production increased 9 per cent to 5,695,774 units. Sales and output also set single-month records during the month of March. Expressing delight at figures, a senior official of Nissan Oman, from the house of Suhail Bahwan Automobiles (SBA) said, “We are delighted with the excellent results announced. This will keep us on track towards achieving our future goals. We look forward to building on the strong track record of success.
