Ex­pect light rain in Mu­san­dam

Rain is likely over Mu­san­dam and the coast of Oman Sea in the next 72 hours, the Met Of­fice has said.

Light to mod­er­ate rain can be ex­pected be­tween Novem­ber 16 and 17, said the weather fore­caster.

On Novem­ber 16, clear to partly cloudy skies are likely over Mu­san­dam and North Al Bati­nah gov­er­norates with chances of iso­lated rain.

Clear skies are ex­pected over rest of the Sul­tanate with chances of late night to early morn­ing low-level clouds in Ara­bian sea coastal area.

Winds will be northerly to north­east­erly light to mod­er­ate along the coastal ar­eas of Oman Sea.

Dust storms are ex­pected in the desert and open ar­eas of north­ern gov­er­norates.

Ex­pect late-night to early morn­ing low-level clouds over South Al Shar­qiyah and Al Wusta gov­er­norates.

Sea con­di­tions are ex­pected to be mod­er­ate along the coastal area of Oman Sea and Mu­san­dam Gover­norate with a max­i­mum wave height of two me­tres and slight to mod­er­ate along rest of the coast with a max­i­mum wave height of 1.5 me­tres. A max­i­mum tem­per­a­ture of 33 de­grees Cel­sius was ex­pe­ri­enced in Ibri, Fahud, Mud­haibi, Ibra, Mar­mul and Ma­hout. Ja­bal Shams recorded the low­est tem­per­a­ture (6 de­grees Cel­sius).
