HM receives message

MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said received a written message from President Nicolas Maduro of the Republic of Venezuela to attend the deliberations of Non-Aligned Movement’s 17th Summit in Margarita Island in Venezuela during September 17 and 18.

The message was received by Sheikh Salim bin Suhail Al Ma’shani, Head of the International Organisations Department when he received yesterday Joseba Achutegui, Special Envoy of the Venezuelan Foreign Minister and non-resident ambassador of Venezuela to the Sultanate.

They discussed means of enhancing the existing bilateral relations between the two countries and exchanging viewpoints on a number of matters of common concern.
