Sri Lankan photographer to exhibit work in Oman
MUSCAT: A vibrant photography exhibition by Sri Lankan national Dinesh Deckker will be held on October 15 at the Sri Lankan School in Wadi Kabir.
M.K. Pathmanaathan, the ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman, will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
A wide range of genres, including landscapes, waterscapes, macro (close up), wildlife, portraits, conceptual, architectural, nature, candid, action, fine art and pano- ramas will be on display. Called “Picturesque,” the unique and first of its kind exhibition will include a vast variety of photo collection of over 250 shots of unseen beauty in Sri Lanka and Oman.
Deckker’s passion for travelling has encouraged him towards photography, videography and conservation. Deckker was also able to create a community consisting of environment-friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and innovative people, who formed a conservation group called “Nade Gura” (www. nadegura.com).
