ROP helicopter airlifts sick woman to hospital

MUSCAT: A female was airlifted from her remote village home to the Royal Hospital in Muscat to receive medical treatment, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said. A Royal Oman Police (ROP) helicopter flew the patient to the hospital from her village at Al Amerat on Thursday as it was difficult for her to be transported by a vehicle because of her health condition and rugged roads.
