BankDho­far adds new fea­ture to its mo­bile app

Adding point view­ing fea­ture to BankDho­far mo­bile bank­ing app will add more value and con­ve­nience to BankDho­far credit card hold­ers en­abling them to view their points wher­ever they are

Muscat: Within its con­tin­u­ous ef­forts to en­rich its cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence, BankDho­far added a point to view fea­ture of loy­alty pro­gramme to its mo­bile bank­ing ap­pli­ca­tion.

The com­pre­hen­sive loy­alty pro­gramme of­fers BankDho­far credit card users a wide ar­ray of ex­clu­sive priv­i­leges, in­clud­ing var­i­ous added-value op­tions for shop­ping, din­ing, hol­i­days and trav­el­ling.

On adding this fea­ture to BankDho­far mo­bile ap­pli­ca­tion, Mar­wan Al Zad­jali, head of Al­ter­na­tive De­liv­ery Chan­nels at BankDho­far noted, “BankDho­far Re­wards pro­gramme has been tai­lored to per­fectly suit our cus­tomers’ life­style, cater to their needs and meet their re­quire­ments. BankDho­far Re­wards pro­gramme was avail­able only via (www.bankd­ho­far­, where cus­tomers can earn points when they use their credit cards. Adding more con­ve­nience to its Elec­tronic bank­ing chan­nels, BankDho­far added the fea­ture to its mo­bile bank­ing. These points can then be re­deemed through the web­site, al­low­ing cus­tomers to choose from more than 300 air­lines and des­ti­na­tions world­wide. They also have the choice of over 180,000 ho­tels across the globe to use the points. Ad­di­tion­ally, the re­wards pro­gramme al­lows cus­tomers to re­deem points at var­i­ous shop­ping out­lets, restau­rants, ca- fes, health clubs and spas. BankDho­far mo­bile bank­ing app is avail­able for An­droid and IOS.

In ad­di­tion to the re­wards pro­gramme, BankDho­far credit cards – as well as debit cards - of­fer a vast ar­ray of ex­clu­sive ben­e­fits and priv­i­leges in­clud­ing ap­peal­ing dis­counts and spe­cial of­fers at var­i­ous shop­ping out­lets, ho­tels, health and well­ness out­lets, din­ing, bou­tiques, travel, leisure and en­ter­tain­ment. Spe­cial of­fers in­clude ex­clu­sive dis­counts that range be­tween 5% and 50% when us­ing BankDho­far debit or credit cards. The di­verse range of ser­vices avail­able to BankDho­far card users also in­cludes, but not lim­ited to, cash with­drawal in OMR (AED & USD in some ATM’s), re­quests for a mini state­ment, bal­ance in­quiry, self-fund trans­fer, third-party trans­fer, card-less cash with­drawal. Ad­di­tion­ally, BankDho­far has an ex­ten­sive net­work of Cash De­posit Ma­chines (CDM) to fur­ther ease trans­ac­tions such as cash de­posit in OMR, bill pay­ment (wa­ter, elec­tric­ity, in­ter­net and phone bills), mo­bile phone top-up, do­na­tion to reg­is­tered char­i­ties that main­tain an ac­count with the bank, credit card pay­ment, Amer­i­can Ex­press card pay­ment and cheque de­posit.
