Sul­tanate con­demns Bahrain ter­ror at­tack

MUS­CAT: A ter­ror at­tack in Bahrain, which claimed the life of one police of­fi­cial, was con­demned by Oman on Satur­day night.

Au­thor­i­ties in Bahrain re­ported on Fri­day that a road­side bomb killed a police of­fi­cer and wounded eight oth­ers.

“Oman strongly con­demns the at­tack. It grieves the loss of life and prays for the speedy re­cov­ery of the in­jured,” Oman’s Min­istry of For­eign Af­fairs tweeted on its of­fi­cial twit­ter han­dle.

Bahrain’s In­te­rior Min­istry said the bomb struck a police bus Fri­day af­ter­noon in the coun­try that is home to the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet.
