ISLAMABAD: PPP’s candidate Faisal Mir and Pakistan Awami Tehreek will file appeals on Friday in Supreme Court (SC) against the acceptance of nomination papers of Kulsoom Nawaz, candidate of Pakistan Muslim League-N for NA-120 by election.

Petitioners are of the view that Kulsoom Nawaz concealed facts about Iqama and asked how the election commission gives permission to her for contest election.

The counsel of the petitioner said in the petition that full bench of high court without checking the facts and evidence turned down the application however the court should nullify the judgment of full bench and reject the nomination papers of Kulsoom Nawaz.
