SC adjourns Jehangir Tareen disqualification case hearing till Tuesday next
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has adjourned hearing of the disqualification case against PTI leader Jehangir Tareen till Tuesday next.
Defendant's counsel Sikandar Bashir continued his arguments before a three member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Mr. Justice Saqib Nisar. Counsel for the petitioner Akram Sheikh objected to the land lease agreements submitted by Tareen and pointed out that these are not registered.
A three-member apex bench - headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar and comprising Justice Umar Atta Bandial and Justice Faisal Arab was hearing a petition filed by PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi which seeks the disqualification of Tareen and PTI Chief Imran Khan over the alleged non-disclosure of assets, existence of offshore companies, as well as receiving foreign funding for PTI.
