Mo­tor­way ex­press project a present for peo­ple of Hazara: Act­ing Speaker NA

ISLAMABAD: Act­ing Speaker Na­tional As­sem­bly, Mur­taza Javed Ab­basi said that the Hazara mo­tor­way Ex­press project is a present for the peo­ple of Hazara.

Dur­ing a visit of Hazara Mo­tor­way Ex­press on Thurs­day and briefing at Burhan In­ter­change, he said the com­ple­tion of this project will not only pro­vide bet­ter travel fa­cil­i­ties to peo­ple of Hazara but peo­ple of Azad Kash­mir and Gil­git-Baltistan will be fa­cil­i­tated. Fed­eral Min­is­ter for Com­mu­ni­ca­tions, Dr. Hafiz Ab­dul Karim, Fed­eral Min­is­ter for Re­li­gious Af­fairs

Sar­dar Mo­ham­mad Yousuf and se­nior of­fi­cials of the Na­tional High­way Author­ity were also present on this oc­ca­sion.

Javed Mur­taza Ab­basi said that the project would cre­ate new op­por­tu­ni­ties for the re­gion but also usher in a new era of pros­per­ity. Dur­ing the briefing by NHA, he was told that work on the project was con­tin­ued with fast pace. He was fur­ther told that the project has been dis­trib­uted into three sec­tions for timely com­ple­tion while the project would be com­pleted till De­cem­ber, same year.

Of­fi­cials fur­ther in­formed that phase one of the project from Burhan In­ter­change to Havelian lasts at 59 kilo­me­ters and was con­sist­ing of six lines. The project would be com­pleted with a cost of Rs 32 bil­lion.
