Motorway express project a present for people of Hazara: Acting Speaker NA
ISLAMABAD: Acting Speaker National Assembly, Murtaza Javed Abbasi said that the Hazara motorway Express project is a present for the people of Hazara.
During a visit of Hazara Motorway Express on Thursday and briefing at Burhan Interchange, he said the completion of this project will not only provide better travel facilities to people of Hazara but people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will be facilitated. Sardar Mohammad Yousuf and senior officials of the National Highway Authority were also present on this occasion.
Javed Murtaza Abbasi said that the project would create new opportunities for the region but also usher in a new era of prosperity. During the briefing by NHA, he was told that work on the project was continued with fast pace. He was further told that the project has been distributed into three sections for timely completion while the project would be completed till December, same year.
Officials further informed that phase one of the project from Burhan Interchange to Havelian lasts at 59 kilometers and was consisting of six lines. The project would be completed with a cost of Rs 32 billion.
