NA-56 in­com­plete de­vel­op­men­tal works cre­ate problems

RAWALPINDI: The in­com­plete de­vel­op­men­tal works of Rawalpindi’s con­stituency NA-56 were be­com­ing headache for the area res­i­dents as open holes and di­lap­i­dated roads of dif­fer­ent union coun­cils pos­ing life threats to in­hab­i­tants.

The res­i­dents were fac- ing bad smell round the clock but now are fac­ing dif­fer­ent kinds of al­ler­gies par­tic­u­larly eye al­lergy due to the dust.

The fear of eye al­lergy, throat in­fec­tion, flue have gripped the whole area as dozens of af­fected peo­ple es­pe­cially chil­dren are con­tin­u­ously vis­it­ing eye spe­cial­ists for med­i­cal treat­ment. Ac­cord­ing to de­tail, Rs 5 mil­lion had been given to the chair­men of dif­fer­ent union coun­cils for the de­vel­op­men­tal works but own­ing the care­less­ness and neg­li­gence de­vel­op­men­tal works were go­ing very snail pace.

The con­stric­tion works of new Nul­lah of Haji Chowk to Khu­ram Colony, con­stric­tion of main tube-wells were still pend­ing.

Res­i­dents have de­manded to the Chief Min­is­ter Pun­jab Shah­baz Sharif to pay at­ten­tion on the is­sue and solve it.
