IGP orders high security
KARACHI: In the wake of Quetta attack, Inspector General of Police Sindh AD Khowaja on Thursday ordered police to ensure high security in the city.
IGP called all DIGs for enhancing motorcycle patrolling, snap checking and strengthening advance intelligence collection systems in sensitive areas, government institutions, offices buildings, railway stations, airports, shopping centers and all public places in their respective areas.
He also instructed that stern action should be taken against criminals and suspicious activities in the city. He further directed all district SSPs and SHOs that they should supervise the security steps in their relevant areas.
