Child dies due to sit in of TKN

IS­LAM­ABAD: Sit in of Tehrik Khatam-eNawawwut (TKN) has blocked al­most all the routes lead­ing to­wards fed­eral cap­i­tal Is­lam­abad.

An in­no­cent child of eight months breathed his last as he could not reach to the PIMS Hos­pi­tal well in time due to sit-in at Faiz­abad, junc­tion of Rawalpindi and Is­lam­abad.

The fa­ther of the de­ceased has reg­is­tered a case in Thana Ko­ral against Khadim Hus­sain Rizvi and his ac­com­plices.

Ac­cord­ing to de­tails Bi­lal Ah­mad a res­i­dent of Jin­nah gar­den has told Ko­ral Po­lice Sta­tion that on Thurs­day morn­ing at 7.30 a.m. he shifted his child in a crit­i­cal con­di­tion to a nearby hos­pi­tal, where doc­tors re­ferred him to take the child to ei­ther Poly Clinic or PIMS ur­gently. But high­way and par­al­lel roads were blocked due to sit in.
