KARACHI: Star-stud­ded FWO beat Mo­tor­ways Whites by 8 wick­ets in the sec­ond semi­fi­nal of the 1st All-Pak­istan Law En­force­ment Agen­cies Mar­tyrs T20 Cricket Tour­na­ment 2017 here at Bhutto Cricket Ground. FWO skip­per won the toss and opted to field first. Mo­tor­ways could score 134-9 with Tayyab Mus­lim and Tauseef scor­ing 36 runs each. Aswad, Alamghir and Mohsin took 2 wick­ets each.

in re­ply,FWO achieved the tar­get in 16.3 overs los­ing just 2 wick­ets. Opener Ubaid Ban­gash hit un­beaten 69 with 8 fours and 1 six while Aswad scored 34. IG Mo­tor­ways Syed Kaleem Imam graced the oc­ca­sion as chief guest, while SSP Shahryar Sikan­dar, Ch Aj­mal Sabir, Sh Azhar Hus­sain, CDA As­sis­tant Di­rec­tor Sports Chaudhry Shahzad Yasin, se­nior sports jour­nal­ists Mohsin Ijaz, Ayaz Ak­bar Yousafzai, Syed Nasir Ab­bas Naqvi, Rana Tan­veer Javed, Arif Mehmood and oth­ers along with FWO Pub­lic School kids were also present on the oc­ca­sion. Later chief guest Syed Kaleem Imam dis­trib­uted prizes among the play­ers. Ubaid was de­clared player of the match. FWO man­ager awarded cash prize of Rs 10,000 each for Ubaid and los­ing Mo­tor­ways Whites team mem­bers.
