DMC Ko­rangi to fa­cil­i­tate cit­i­zens on Eid Mi­lad

KARACHI: Dis­trict Mu­nic­i­pal Cor­po­ra­tion Ko­rangi Chair­man Syed Na­yar Raza said on Tues­day that the cor­po­ra­tion will pro­vide ev­ery pos­si­ble fa­cil­ity to cit­i­zens to cel­e­brate the Eid Mi­ladun Nabi (PBUH) in the holy month of Rabi-ulAwal.

He said this while visit­ing dif­fer­ent projects of Ko­rangi dis­trict along with su­per­in­ten­dent engi­neer Tariq Mughal and oth­ers.

Na­yar stated that the prepa­ra­tions re­gard­ing the fes­tiv­i­ties of Rabi-ul- Awal have al­ready been started, whereas devel­op­ment projects were also go­ing well in Ko­rangi dis­trict.

“The chair­men, vice chair­men and union com­mit­tee’ mem­bers of Ko­rangi, Malir, Model Town, Landhi and Shah Faisal Colony, along with Karachi wa­ter and sew­er­age board, are try­ing to re­solve all the prob­lems re­gard­ing the sew­er­age block­age, clean­li­ness of the ar­eas and short­age of wa­ter, be­fore Rabi-ulAwal,” he claimed

Na­yar in­structed to re­move garbage heaps, which were seen every­where in the dis­trict. He added, “The Mosques’ and street­lights should also be prop­erly main­tained, just to avoid any in­con­ve­nience in the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal.”
