IVS holds book fair

KARACHI: The 3rd an­nual two-day book fair on the theme of “What­ever the cost of a li­brary, the price is cheap com­pare to that of an ig­no­rant na­tion” was or­ga­nized by IVS( In­dus Val­ley School of Art and Ar­chi­tec­ture) Mar­ium Ab­dulla Li­brary here Mon­day at IVS cam­pus.

Pro­fes­sor Emer­i­tus Shehnaz Is­mail who is also one of the Founders of IVS in­au­gu­rated the book fair. Around 10 pub­lish­ers and book sell­ers are par­tic­i­pat­ing and as many as more than 3000 books on the sub­ject of Art, Ar­chi­tec­ture, Fash­ion, Tex­tile, Com­mu­ni­ca­tion, In­te­rior De­sign and other themes are on dis­play and avail­able for sale with dis­count.

Pro­fes­sor Shehnaz Is­mail said li­brary is one of my favourite places which make me feel happy and good. She also em­pha­sised that stu­dents must arm them­selves with the weapon of knowl­edge through books.
