Mir­waiz takes dig at Mehbooba’s re­marks

SRINAGAR: In oc­cu­pied Kash­mir, the Chair­man of Hur­riyat fo­rum, Mir­waiz Umar Fa­rooq, took a jibe at the pup­pet Chief Min­is­ter, Mehbooba Mufti, over her re­marks against the Kash­miri peo­ple.

Mir­waiz Umar Fa­rooq in a state­ment is­sued in Srinagar said that the Kash­miri peo­ple were not beg­gars and that they didn’t need doles from the Gov­ern­ment of In­dia.

“Do not need the largesse or dole of Gov­ern­ment of In­dia to sur­vive as Mehbooba Mufti sug­gests and are no beg­gars,” he said.
