PRC hosts If­tar Din­ner for Less Priv­i­leged Peo­ple

KARACHI, June 13: Pak­istan Red Cres­cent in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Te­lenor Pak­istan hosted an if­tar din­ner for less priv­i­leged peo­ple at Al Ahmed Mar­riage Lawn. The ob­jec­tive of the event was to pro­mote hap­pi­ness in daily lives of most vul­ner­a­ble peo­ple with­out com­pro­mis­ing hu­man dig­nity. More than 500 peo­ple in­clud­ing ado­les­cent chil­dren form Or­phan Care and other wel­fare cen­ters, peo­ple with dis­abil­i­ties and el­derly peo­ple par­tic­i­pated in the event.

PRC Chair­man Shah­naz Hamid also par­tic­i­pated in the event and em­pha­sized on the need to serve the most de­serv­ing peo­ple. She ap­pre­ci­ated Te­lenor Pak­istan to join hands with PRC for shar­ing the meal with the needy peo­ple.
