PRC hosts Iftar Dinner for Less Privileged People
KARACHI, June 13: Pakistan Red Crescent in collaboration with Telenor Pakistan hosted an iftar dinner for less privileged people at Al Ahmed Marriage Lawn. The objective of the event was to promote happiness in daily lives of most vulnerable people without compromising human dignity. More than 500 people including adolescent children form Orphan Care and other welfare centers, people with disabilities and elderly people participated in the event.
PRC Chairman Shahnaz Hamid also participated in the event and emphasized on the need to serve the most deserving people. She appreciated Telenor Pakistan to join hands with PRC for sharing the meal with the needy people.
