KARACHI: Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information Barrister Murtaza Wahab said on Friday that victimization had been unleashed in the name of accountability.

"Promises made by PTI leadership with the people of the country proved merely deception," he said in a statement. The advisor said that PPP firmly believed in rule of law and favored accountability, but they would not accept victimization of political opponents. Criticizing the economic decisions of federal government, he said that the federal government had already brought Tsunami of price hike in the country before completion of 100 days in office.

He said the federal government was meting out step motherly treatment with Sindh province, adding that it had turned blind eye on the painful situation of Thar and merely relying on words.
