Ap­point­ment of dep­u­ta­tion of­fi­cers in CDA chal­lenged in IHC

IS­LAM­ABAD: Ap­point­ment of 11 of­fi­cers in Cap­i­tal Devel­op­ment Au­thor­ity (CDA) on dep­u­ta­tion has been chal­lenged in Is­lam­abad High Court (IHC).

As per me­dia re­port a pe­ti­tion has been filed by a cit­i­zen in this re­gard in the court.

The pe­ti­tioner has taken the plea ap­point­ment of of­fi­cers on dep­u­ta­tion in CDA runs con­trary to law. As per CDA rules -1992 of­fi­cers on dep­u­ta­tion can­not be ap­pointed on ex­ec­u­tive posts in CDA.

The pe­ti­tioner has prayed the court to is­sue or­ders for send­ing these of­fi­cers back to their par­ent de­part­ments.
