PIEDMC de­cides to con­struct 132 KV grid sta­tions

LA­HORE: Pun­jab In­dus­trial Es­tates Devel­op­ment & Man­age­ment Com­pany (PIEDMC) has de­cided to con­struct two 132 KV grid sta­tions cost­ing Rs. 870 mil­lion in two of their Spe­cial Eco­nomic Zones. PIEDMC in prin­ci­pal has given ap­proval to start the con­struc­tion of 132 KV grid sta­tions at both Bhal­wal and Ve­hari Spe­cial Eco­nomic Zones in the FY 2020-21.

This de­ci­sion was taken by the board of di­rec­tors (BOD) dur­ing a meet­ing chaired by Syed Nabeel Hashmi, Chair­man PIEDMC. In the meet­ing BOD also ap­proved pur­chase and in­stal­la­tion of gen­er­a­tors (500 kVA or more) for both Bhal­wal and Ve­hari Spe­cial Eco­nomic Zones.

Al­lo­ca­tion of Rs. 20 mil­lion from PIEDMC’s own re­sources was ap­proved to re­pair road con­nect­ing

Mul­tan-Muzaf­far­garh (N-5) to Mul­tan In­dus­trial Es­tate. More­over, the prepa­ra­tion of fea­si­bil­ity study re­port of Sahi­wal In­dus­trial Es­tate in Tehsil Chichawatn­i will also be car­ried out by PIEDMC through its own re­sources.
