Microsoft Pakistan

Enterprise - - Editor’s desk - Asim Khan Australia

This is with reference to the cover story of March about Microsoft Pakistan. Microsoft has proved that it is not only a big software company but that it cares for the people also. We witnessed its philanthropic approach after the floods hit Pakistan last year. It was also a pleasant surprise to read about the alliance Microsoft has formed with the HEC to work for the education sector. If only MNCs operating in Pakistan could devise similar methods to work for the development sector, especially education, it would certainly lower the burden of the state and add to the reputation of the companies.
