Silk flow!

Enterprise - - Editor’s desk - Samar Mehdi Karachi

The beautiful art pieces of Nasreen Akhtar, as brought to light by Enterprise, inspired me to see fabric designing differently. It is also worth noting that Nasreen has utilized the opportunity of learning the art from various places. It seems to me that the art of silk painting is closest to nature. People like me who love to wear uniquely adorned dresses cannot ignore the vibrant colours and soothing texture of silk. Pakistan has grown conducive for new experiments in fashion and style through easily accessible outlets.

Nasreen Akhtar and other people in the field should showcase their unique brands more often so that we may see more of their unconventional designs. The colours flowing on silk are truly tempting
