Style diva who builds images

Enterprise - - Interview -

Nabila is a leading stylist in the Pakistani fashion industry. A style diva, Nabila is the image consultant for commercials, fashion shows and music videos and is known for having transformed fashion models into celebrities. Nabila is responsible for giving the glam look to stars and for styling of segments in TV shows. Always looking for exclusivity, Nabila does not limit herself to hair and makeup but uses her trained teams in Lahore and Karachi to style whole events. She says, “I can do drop dead gorgeous hair and make-up but if people are wearing the wrong clothes, wrong jewellery and the wrong shoes, then the hair and make up cannot work on their own. The style goes head to toe. I would rather be responsible for the entire look.” The red carpet concept that has come to Pakistan are credited to Nabila’s styling vision, “It is good publicity for the designers as the red carpet exposes who’s wearing whom and one gets a lot of backstage publicity. I’m quite flattered to see that everybody is doing the red carpet now.” Nabila’s addiction to perfection has led a number of leading actors, musicians, cricketers, VJs and models to move up on the popularity scale through their revamped outlooks. ‘Nabila Changes’, a pictorial history of her journey to becoming Pakistan’s most well-known stylist has set new benchmarks for the industry.
