Spreading out Ladiesfund

Enterprise - - Editor’s desk - Arnold Patrick Karachi

LadiesFund has remained a focal point of attention, whenever the development of Pakistan is discussed. I appreciate Enterprise for letting us discover this brilliant initiative through the insight provided by Tara Uzra Dawood herself. Her interview was enriching in context of the efforts of LadiesFund in the fields of financial security and empowerment. A project like this is more than necessary for a country like Pakistan, where people wrongly mix up financial management with crisis management. As part of fast changing financial demands, people need to seek financial advice as part of their daily financial management. Particularly by providing financial opportunities to the women of Pakistan, LadiesFund is reaching out to resolve complex social issues which are dependent on women empowerment. There should be a more supportive structure for such projects for achieving long-term prosperity
