‘Pak­istan House’ in Moscow

The Fed­er­a­tion of Pak­istan Cham­ber of Com­merce and In­dus­try and Pak-rus­sia Busi­ness Coun­cil have agreed to es­tab­lish a Dis­play Cen­tre ti­tled “Pak­istan House” in Ori­ent Peters­burg, Moscow. The agree­ment was reached at a meet­ing be­tween Rizichenko, Di­rec­tor of Tiag Proom Ex­port Com­pany and of­fi­cials of Pak­istan-rus­sia Busi­ness Coun­cil led by Se­na­tor Haji Ghu­lam Ali, Pres­i­dent FPCCI. Trans­fer of modern tech­nol­ogy to Pak­istan Steel Mills, in­crease in an­nual pro­duc­tion ca­pac­ity and other re­lated mat­ters were also dis­cussed in the meet­ing.

Rizichenko stated that with new ma­chin­ery and modern tech­nol­ogy, pro­duc­tion of Pak­istan Steel Mills can be in­creased to 0.4 mil­lion tons an­nu­ally which would also con­trol un­em­ploy­ment He stressed that Pak­istan Steel Mills could be prof­itable only in the pri­vate sec­tor. He fur­ther in­formed Pres­i­dent FPCCI that it is nec­es­sary for the progress of the Mills that an au­dit is con­ducted and a com­pre­hen­sive re­port, which also in­cludes the ef­fi­cien­cies and dif­fi­cul­ties of the Mills and in­for­ma­tion re­gard­ing tech­nol­ogy be pre­pared.
