‘Pakistan House’ in Moscow
The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Pak-russia Business Council have agreed to establish a Display Centre titled “Pakistan House” in Orient Petersburg, Moscow. The agreement was reached at a meeting between Rizichenko, Director of Tiag Proom Export Company and officials of Pakistan-russia Business Council led by Senator Haji Ghulam Ali, President FPCCI. Transfer of modern technology to Pakistan Steel Mills, increase in annual production capacity and other related matters were also discussed in the meeting.
Rizichenko stated that with new machinery and modern technology, production of Pakistan Steel Mills can be increased to 0.4 million tons annually which would also control unemployment He stressed that Pakistan Steel Mills could be profitable only in the private sector. He further informed President FPCCI that it is necessary for the progress of the Mills that an audit is conducted and a comprehensive report, which also includes the efficiencies and difficulties of the Mills and information regarding technology be prepared.
