2012 and ahead!

This is with reference to the article ‘How bad is the economy?’ published in Enterprise, January issue. It was quite a comprehensive analysis of the global economic issues, on the basis of which agendas for the year 2012 can be set. The year ahead is quite significant, as it equally carries the impact of the global financial crisis since 2008 and the brunt of relieving the future economy. Realizing this importance, it was helpful to have the major global issues as listed by the World Economic Forum. A financial regulatory system, balancing of global power shifts, employment creation, efficient governance, securing environment and natural resources and exploiting the digital revolution for utmost well being of global society are the major broad categories to invest in. The confidence of the global economy needs to be restored at the earliest.
