TDAP to increase trade activities in Tajikistan
TDAP will continue to work towards strengthening trade relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan. Zubaydullo Zubaydov, the Tajikistan Ambassador in Pakistan, along with Irshad Kassim, Honorary Consul General of Tajikistan in Karachi, had a meeting at TDAP to discuss the trade promotion activities between the two countries. He said this year Tajikistan would celebrate 20 years of diplomatic relations with Pakistan and invited TDAP to participate in the event.
The Tajik Ambassador said there was a strong need to develop direct communication between the two countries along with increased exchange of business delegations. In this context, the ambassador said the Tajik Airlines would soon start operations for Pakistan to facilitate such visits. He also informed that the Tajik government is considering issuance of visa to business community from Karachi.
The Tajik Ambassador also sought assistance of TDAP in formation of a joint business council of the two countries to promote bilateral trade activities. TDAP has assured of its full cooperation in this respect. Anis Alam, and Tariq Huda, Director Generals were also present in the meeting.
