Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 5000 is designed for the business traveller and is one of the first multi-platform keyboards having an ergonomic Microsoft Comfort Curve design. It is less than three-quarters of an inch think and weighs 400 grams. The keyboard enables more comfortable and efficient typing than regular keyboards; the Comfort Curve design enables a natural wrist posture while the slim design makes it lightweight and convenient to carry.

Normally, Bluetooth activated hardware requires a transceiver but the Microsoft keyboard is equipped with an internal facility that establishes a link, making it a plug and play device. The keyboard has a fully functional QWERTY keypad and is compatible with tablets, PCs, Microsoft Windows (Windows Vista and Windows 7), iPad, iPad2, Apple and Android-based Smartphones, which help users type lengthy documents while travelling.

Says Satish Parreddi, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Retail Sales & Marketing, Microsoft India, “Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile keyboard 5000 is especially designed for people on the move and as the market for mobile products such as tablets and laptops increases, this is poised to become an accessory consumers would definitely want.”

The keyboard requires standard AAA batteries to function well when connected to the system via Bluetooth. People take a while to adjust to the portable keyboard but it is worth the try as they can carry it in their luggage with ease.
