The WHT expert

Enterprise - - Letter - Muhammad Sarwar Mir, Gujrat.

The Finance Minister Ishaq Dar seems to be totally oblivious the needs of the common people and how they are barely making ends meet but is fully mindful of the needs of the IMF and the World Bank. He is fleecing the people of this country while appeasing the donors. We were taught to ‘cut your coat according to your cloth.’ It appears our finance minister has been following this in a reverse fashion. Instead of cutting government expenses to manage the budget deficit, he keeps multiplying indirect taxes to unimaginable limits. Why on earth would a finance expert levy withholding tax on bank transactions?
