PTI his­toric rally in Swat to­day: Im­ran

IS­LAM­ABAD— Pak­istan Tehreek-e-In­saaf Chair­man Im­ran Khan has said that his party was go­ing to stage a mas­sive show in Swat on Sun­day af­ter hold­ing a mam­moth gath­er­ing in La­hore on March 23.

Ad­dress­ing party work­ers on Satur­day at the Is­lam­abad Con­ven­tion Cen­tre, he said that the PTI would an­nounce its man­i­festo next week, vow­ing that the party would end load­shed­ding within five years af­ter coming into power.

“Peo­ple take turns in power af­ter spend­ing huge money and keep mak­ing money for five years but we have to com­pete money with our ide­ol­ogy,” Khan said.

He said that the big­gest

match in the his­tory of Pak­istan was go­ing to be played and “I will bring in a neu­tral em­pire for this “in­ter­na­tional cricket match”

Khan who of­ten uses cricket ter­mi­nol­ogy in his speeches, said he had been strug­gling over the last 17 years and knew well how to fight.

He said that PTI work­ers would be de­puted at ev­ery polling sta tion to check poll rig­ging, adding t hat the party vol­un­teers would run door-to-door cam­paign to spread its mes­sage.
